I was born in Tacoma, Washington to a Navy family who moved frequently. I lived in Hawaii briefly, then moved to Connecticut where I spent most of my adolescent years aspiring to become a pastry chef. In my Junior year of high school, my family and I moved to Virginia, and my dreams of becoming a chef disappeared. After graduating high school I was unsure of what I wanted to do, so I entered the world of customer service. Immediately I discovered that I thoroughly enjoyed helping people.
My first experience in the car industry was with a local Chrysler Dodge Jeep and Ram dealership. I felt exhilarated and overwhelmed all at the same time. The salesmen and managers taught me an astronomical amount of information about cars, people, and technology! Unfortunately, the store was a boys club so I decided to pursue other interests.
A few years later I heard that a mutual friend was starting his own Business Development Company. I was intrigued and asked Andrew for more information. He interviewed me, told me what they do, and he had officially gained my full interest.
